Holiday Parties and Sugarlands Moonshine, Let The Fun Begin

Most of us have watched or atleast heard of the show Moonshiners, it is my favorite show to watch, Sugarlands Distilling Company has so many of our favorite brands of Moonshine that you can purchase from their online store or at the showrooms all around their mills. Christmas is almost here and that means parties, dinners and good times with family and friends, if you want to be the hit of the party bring some of Sugarlands Moonshine. Let me tell you about the three jars of Moonshines that I received, I got the Pina Colada Moonshine, Cole Swindell’s Pre Show Punch Moonshine and the Blockader”s Blackberry Moonshine, all of these products have their very own unique taste and it was hard for me to choose a favorite because they all are very good. Check out The Legends of Moonshine, from Mark & Digger, Mark Rogers, Jim Tom , and Tickle just to name a few.

Pina Colada Moonshine- 70 Proof 750 Ml Jar $29.00

Pina Colada moonshine combines the taste of fresh pineapple and coconut milk. This smooth, crisp, and sweet flavor is best enjoyed over ice or out of a blender. This moonshine is coconut forward and finishes with a smooth pineapple flavor; with one sip you will feel like you’re sitting in a beach chair with your toes in the sand! But sip wisely, because at 70 proof it packs a hidden punch.

Pairings & Suggestions

Ingredients

1.5 oz Pina Colada Moonshine

3.5 oz Pineapple Juice

Instructions

Build over ice, garnish with a pineapple wheel and enjoy.

Cole Swindell’s Pre Show Punch 50 Proof 750 ml Jar- $29.00

Cole’s One Two Punch

Serves 1

Ingredients

1.25 oz Cole Swindell’s Pre Show Punch

.75 oz Pina Colada Moonshine

1 oz Orange Juice

1 oz Pineapple Juice

1 oz Cranberry Juice

Splash of Club Soda

Instructions

Add all ingredients except club soda to a shaker full of ice and shake. Pour ingredients over ice and top with club soda. Garnish with your favorite fruit!

Blockader’s Blackberry Moonshine- 40 Proof 750 ml Jar

Blockader’s Blackberry Moonshine blends the natural flavors of ripe berries with the floral fragrances of honeysuckle and lavender. With a velvety mouthfeel and a long, nectarous finish.

Pairings & Suggestions

Mix this moonshine with your favorite citrus flavor, peach or plum juices for a sweet and refreshing cocktail.
Serve alongside your favorite port wine cheese or add a splash to your champagne at brunch.

Blackberry Bramble

Serves 1

Ingredients

1 oz. Blockader’s Blackberry Moonshine

1 oz Peach Puree

.75 oz Lemon Juice

.5 oz Simple Syrup

¼ cup fresh Blackberries

Peach slices for garnish

Instructions

Muddle blackberries then add to the bottom of the glass. Add Blackberry Shine, peach puree, lemon juice and simple syrup in shaker and mix. Add ice to glass and pour liquid over.
