1 Tequila, 2 tequila, 3 tequila,….

Disclaimer*: I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and fair review. Opinions expressed are my own and my brother-in-law’s.

When I saw tequila, I knew I had to get it so my favorite brother-in-law could have it and give me his opinion. Tequila is his favorite spirit!
I received three sample bottles of Riazul Tequila.

Riazul Reposado: The smell was very light and the tequila went down extremely easily. It had a very light sweet flavor to it. There was no “bite” to it at all. It did leave a bit of a “woodsy” aftertaste in my opinion. This tequila would be a good starter for someone who is just getting into drinking tequila. It would be good to use in cocktails. I would not sip this one on the rocks.

Riazul Anejo: The smell was a bit stronger than the first. It tasted a bit sweeter than the first. This tequila had a bolder taste and had a very small bite to it. This would be an okay tequila to drink on the rocks or use in mixed drinks, preferably use in mixed drinks.

Riazul Plata: This one had the boldest smell to it. The bite was also the sharpest. It also had a sweet flavor to it as well. This would be the one to drink on the rocks. This was my brother-in-law’s favorite of the three different kinds.

In our opinion, when you drink any of these tequilas on the rocks it would need to be chilled first, so you can truly enjoy the flavor of the tequila.
