Building Relationships Online ~ Why Some of My Best Buds are Bloggers

Would you believe me if I told you some of my best friends are ones I have never met before? In this world of blogging you meet a lot of people. Some who leave lasting impressions, some who are only here for a season, and some who stick around for the long haul. I am proud to say that I am blessed to have quite a few that have crossed my path in the blogging world who I am proud to call a best friend. No, we have never met but sometimes that can be the best part. Blogging has had it’s ups and downs and so does real life. It has it’s good days and lots of challenging days that leave me exhausted, physically drained, and sometimes wanting to give up.

Want to know how I have managed to make it to almost three years without completely losing my mind? It’s those cyber friends that continue to keep me going. They are here to give me a stiff kick in the rear end when I need it and give the encouraging words I so desperately need when I just want to give up. Don’t get me wrong, I love what I do but let’s be real, it’s not always flowers & candy or sweet dreams & sunshine. However, I always know who I can turn to for a word of advice, sound doctrine, and just a laugh between friends. No, I have never met my blogging sisters in real life, but it seems as if I have known them for years and can talk to them about anything, no holds barred. These ladies will always keep it real with me and I love that about them.

This blogging journey won’t end here and neither will our friendship. These ladies hold a special place in my heart and hopefully one day we will be able to share a laugh or two together in person. Until then, I want to say thank you for all that you do. Stay blessed and may god grant you the desires of your heart.
