Haribo Smurfs Gummies are Oh So Yummy!

Have you had a chance to check out the new Smurfs 2 movie that released in theaters on July 31? My family hasn’t yet but we plan to soon. I grew up on cartoons like the smurfs and love that a childhood favorite has made it’s way to the big screen for a second time. I took my girls to see the first movie and they loved it so I have no doubt they will enjoy the second one. We did get a chance to sample the new Haribo Smurf gummies and they are oh so delicious!!! Each gummi is shaped like a Smurf character including Poppa Smurf and Smurfette (both my daughter’s favorite). We enjoyed playing pretend with our candy then biting the heads off. Sorry Poppa Smurf but when you combine a favorite character and strawberry & raspberry gummi flavors you just can’t help yourself!

A little about Haribo:

Haribo was founded in 1920 and is based in Germany, with headquarters in Bonn. The Haribo name is an acronym for the company’s founder Hans Riegel. It is the worlds largest gummi, licorice, and marshmallow candy manufacturer. It’s gummi candy is sold in the U.S. including Gold Bears (my favorite), Twin Cherries, Ginger-Lemon, and Peaches and Raspberries. 

My family and I really enjoyed these Smurf gummi candies. They were very tasty, flavorful, and detailed. You will have no problem knowing which Smurf is who. On top of their cute design, they are also gluten and fat free. Making it a guilt free treat that the entire family will enjoy. Trust me, everyone down to the hubby in our family loved these and we can’t wait to see Smurfs 2 this upcoming week!!
