Kelty Speedster Swivel Stroller

My niece was born not too long ago and one of the things she needed was a stroller. We were fortunate enough to be able to review this Kelty Speedster swivel deluxe stroller. There are a number of things that I love and appreciate about this stroller. First thing is safety. The 5 point safety harness allows you to keep your baby safe and secure at all times. The straps are adjustable and easy to use. No matter what age your infant is, they are going to be moving around and the last thing you want is your child sliding out of the stroller. I only want the best for my niece and her safety is of the utmost importance. The speedster swivel stroller gets a thumb up in this department.

Assembly was virtually effortless. Took me about ten to fifteen minutes tops to put it together by myself. My girls loved testing it out before using it for my niece. They described it as a very comfortable ride so I knew my niece would have no problems getting used to it. The seat reclines back which is great for when your little one falls asleep in the stroller so they won’t have to sit upright.

You also have an easy accessible parking brake on your wheels and a runaway leash to keep baby or child from rolling away. I have that extra peace of mind knowing that the manufacturer of our stroller has taken every necessary precaution and has the safety of my child on the top of their list.

Another thing that I love about this stroller is the attachable hood. It allows you to keep the sun out your baby’s eyes when going for long walks or jogs. You can still easily keep an eye on your baby with the see through window. There is no need to detach the hood once it is assembled because it is adjustable and can be pulled back when not in use.

The handle bar can be moved and adjusted as well. You can adjust it to the position that you feel the most comfortable using. Oh, and I can’t forget about the bottle holders too. Yup, they thought of everything!

This stroller also has a nice storage area underneath for you to place things like the diaper bag, your jacket, or whatever you need to carry with you. You can focus on just pushing along your child and having a great time together.

Here is something that I haven’t seen on many strollers. The bell is a great addition to the Kelty speedster swivel stroller. It helps alert others of you and baby’s presence. Just another awesome safety feature that makes me like this even more.

After each use, the stroller folds by unlatching the yellow pieces on each side. The only downfall to this I would say, is that it was kind of hard the first few times. However, I think once we did it a few times it got a lot easier and more effortless. It is kind of on the bigger side but was still able to fit easily in our trunk with extra space for bags or other items.

My final thoughts on the Kelty speedster swivel stroller is that it is a great stroller especially for long strolls. It’s easy to maneuver plus it has the safety of your child in mind with the 5 point harness, parking brake, and runaway leash. It is comfortable for both baby and mom. My niece really enjoys being chauffeured around in her new ride and she is very content every time. We barely hear a peep when she is in it. Thanks Kelty for allowing us to review. We love it!
