Today’s Featured Blog-“Thoughts of A Mad Typer”

“Looking back to high school I don’t think I ever really tried to imagine what I would be doing at 23. I knew deep down no matter how much I wanted to go to college right after high school it wasn’t in the cards for me. I tried to apply for scholarships but anything that required my mom’s signature would never get completed because once they left my Hand she would lose them and I’m not so certain it wasn’t on purpose. I suppose I could have faked her signature but that just wasn’t in my line of thinking.
I bet you wonder why I have the thoughts about the one that gave birth to me or why I doubted myself. The reason? I was a child of what you may call a lost soul, and by that I mean a drug addict….”

Hi, My name is Ruby and I write a blog called Thoughts of a mad typer. The above is the opening to my book about my life that I plan to finish one day but I am only 24 so I have to wait a few more years to add more chapters to my story. I am a small town Goth girl who is glued to her iPhone and camera. I do CSR tech support with one of the largest cell phone providers in the United States and have been working there since I was 19. I love to take pictures and write about things that inspire me or just randomly come into mind. I came up with the name mad typer at some point in the past and one day came upon one of my old notebooks with all my short stories and it was titled thoughts of a mad typer. So when I was trying to come up with a name for the blog I decided to stick with that because a previous name I was using people could take it the wrong way. Thinking back I remember what I was thinking about when I came up with that saying. I was thinking about the Mad Hatter on Alice in wonderland, figured he was “mad” and some people considered me mad and I type stories so why not the mad typer? Anyway back to the blog, I am starting to get into doing reviews and as I know myself most will end up being about electronics but nothing is set in stone.
