Being a mom of three girls can be a complicated task, especially when it comes to styling their natural hair. We all have a full time schedule between work, school, and everyday in between, so when trying to get through styling, you want to save as much time as possible. Thankfully, Just For Me has a wonderful line of products made especially for my girls hair and cuts styling time in half.
The Just For Me natural hair nutrition products are perfect for kids like mine with natural hair types. It helps to nourish, soften, and hydrate hair to achieve easy styling. Styling my youngest daughter’s hair is much more pleasant and I see less tears when combing through her tangles.
Styling natural hair doesn’t have to be a pain for both the parent and the child. Here are a few things that work for me when styling to make it run a little more smoothly.
1) Make sure to moisturize: Moisturizing the hair (especially the ends) can help make combing run more smoothly. Having a good one like Just For Me creamy butter moisturizer helps to soften my girls hair and keeps the ends shiny and from looking dull or brittle.
2) Work in sections: Instead of trying to comb all the hair at once, it really helps to section off the hair in four parts. I also like to use Just For Me nourishing leave in conditioner to easily detangle hair without adding extra stress or tears. Once I get through one section, i’ll twist it and move onto the next until the entire head is fully combed through.
3) Space out multiple children hair styling: I know that as a mom we get exhausted from doing everyday tasks so spacing out multiple hair styling is a huge stress reliever. If I know that I have to do all the girls hair, i’ll try and pick different days of the week to do each one. Weekends work best since i’m off of work so I may do one on Friday and the other on Saturday.
Finally, I always make sure that I have product on hand like Just For Me Natural Hair Nutrition line to get me through detangling, washing, and styling. Their products are kid friendly, smell amazing, are lightweight, and help me to maintain beautiful hair throughout the school year and more!
