They say big things come in small packages and I have to say the same for the Kobo Mini. About a month back we got to review the Kobo touch and this is just a smaller version. Great for when you want to read but don’t want something that takes up a lot of space. You can slip this baby right in your pocket when you are done. Don’t get it twisted either. Just because it is small, doesn’t mean that there is a little bit of space on it. You still get some of the great features of other Kobo products with millions of books to choose from in their library. The initial set up takes a couple of minutes and you choose whether you want to hook it up to the pc or set it up with a wireless connection. I am a wireless kind of girl so I used my wifi to set it up. I already had an account set up with my other Kobo so the process was even easier.
My daughter loves to read so this is mainly for her. With the Kobo Mini, I don’t have to worry about books cluttering up space in her room. It holds up to 1,000 books on one eReader and is the perfect size for a 10 year old. It’s lightweight but durable all at the same time. Best of all, it’s touchscreen so she doesn’t feel like she is stuck in the stone ages. The Kobo mini is very responsive so it doesn’t take much touch when using it. No frustrating moments of lagging and freezing. I love all the colors the Kobo mini comes in and that it has a price that can fit in anyone’s budget. Great eReader at an even greater price!
