Growing up, Mamba candy was one of my favorites. Now they have different flavors available including this limited edition fun pack. I recently saw it in the store and wanted to give it a try to see if I’d like. First I have to say that I like the packaging. It gives a twist to the original packaging with a carnival/town fair vibe. When you open it up, there are three flavors Raspberry popcorn, candy apple, and strawberry cotton candy. There is a blueberry slushie flavor that is advertised on the package that I was curious to try but wasn’t included in mine. I wonder if it’s a mystery of flavors for each pack and you just have to purchase one that does include it. I might have to purchase another pack to actually find out. However I’m unsure if I liked these flavors enough to find out.
Out of the three flavors, candy apple would be the flavor I liked the most. The flavors are subtle and not overpowering. I wasn’t really a fan of the raspberry popcorn but the strawberry cotton candy was just okay. Overall, I liked the soft taffy texture of the Mamba that brought back my childhood, however most of the flavors just weren’t what I was expecting. I’d honestly give this pack a 3/5 but most likely wouldn’t purchase again.
