I am pleased to share with you my thoughts on the Cinnamon Roll flavored oats I received from Naked Nutrition. It’s always nice to have something you can make or grab quickly, especially on those days you don’t feel like making a meal. Naked Oats are high in protein and offers you two different ways to make them. Enjoy as a protein shake or as a morning meal prepared like overnight oats.
Each serving is equipped with 20 grams of grass fed whey protein, is low in sugars, and only 240 calories. You’ll also get 6 grams of fiber plus no artificial sweeteners, colors, or flavors. I like that the ingredient list is minimal with simple items you can pronounce. To top it off, Naked Oats is certified gluten free, GMO free, and soy free.
My Thoughts
Upon opening the bottle, the first thing I noticed was it smells delicious. I don’t know about you, but if I open something and it smells off, I’m already turned off to try it. I like that you can prepare it as a protein shake with water or milk or any other beverage. Just add two scoops and turn on your mixer for 20 seconds for a blended shake. There is a little bit of a thicker consistency because of the oats but I do like that it’s not chalky and blends easily. The flavor in my opinion is delicious but can be a little sweet. Feel free to add your favorite fruit or veggie to switch it up or add variety.
The ability to also use Naked Oats to make an overnight oat for a ready to go morning meal is genius. Just add two scoops of Naked Oats and 8-12 ounces of milk or water and let sit in the fridge for at least 5 hours. It’s a hearty meal to have on the go or as a quick breakfast if you’re ever in a rush. I honestly would have it this way any time a day. Perfect when I need a meal that’s going to fill me and not have me feeling guilty afterwards.
