Halloween is exactly one week away and all my girls are talking about is trick or treating. However, this year we’ll be trunk or treating instead. If you haven’t heard of trunk or treating, it’s when people dress up their cars and kids go from car to car instead of house to house. We attended a trunk or treating event last year and had so much fun, plus it was much safer. There was a moon bounce, face painting, food, and so much more, all in one place. If you haven’t been to one, I highly recommend checking one out in your area.

We all know trick or treating (or trunk or treating) wouldn’t be complete without candy so here are a few suggestions to hand out to your dressed up visitors courtesy of our friends at the Hershey Company. We were sent a variety of different candies so I knew there would be something each one of my girls would enjoy.

Reese’s Ghosts come in a snack size ghostly shape that doesn’t take away from your favorite flavor, it just adds a cute little twist for your Halloween night. They are chocolate covered and filled with the classic peanut butter filling. So for all the Reese’s lovers, you’re in for a real treat! Kit Kat Minis White in snack size are perfect for trick or treaters and adults alike. These white-chocolate coated Kit Kat candies are filled with crème and crisp wafers, melting in your mouth with every bite.

Hershey’s Caramel Apple Milk Chocolates are by far my favorite. These individually wrapped apple shaped milk chocolates are filled with a smooth caramel filling and are super delicious! Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Crème Skulls, wrapped in a skull themed foil are the perfect size and great to use for anything Halloween backdrops. Including parties, classroom treats, and yes, trick or treating!
