My kids love to snack. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is, they just love to snack. Thankfully Simply7 offers crunchy snacks they can enjoy any time of day and are great for them. Simply7 chips are very delicious on their own but can be even better when added to your kids favorite school lunches. Put your own little spin on the traditional packed lunch and snacks with these creative ideas I’ve provide below featuring Simply7 products.
Bento “Lunchable”
1 serving size Organic Veggie Chips or Kale Chips
6 slices turkey
Directions:
1.) Roll turkey and layer with one Simply7 chip on the top and underneath each slice.
Lentil Chip Trail Mix
Ingredients:
1 Bag Simply7 Lentil Sea Salt Chips
12 oz. Almonds, unsalted
6 oz. bag dried banana chips
6 oz. dark chocolate chips
5 oz. raisins
2 tbsp. dried coconut
1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a large plastic bag.
- Add cinnamon and shake well.
- Dig in! Store any remaining trail mix in an air tight container.
Quinoa Chip Crusted Chicken Fingers
Ingredients:
1 bag Simply7 Quinoa Sea Salt Chips
2 eggs
1 tbsp. All-Purpose Flour*
8 chicken tenderloins
*Gluten free option: replace flour with 1 tbsp. corn starch or potato starch
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
- In a food processor, grind the Simply7 Quinoa Sea Salt Chips into crumbs. Place crumbs into a medium bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whip the eggs. Add the 1 tbsp. of all-purpose flour to the egg mixture, and blend together until smooth.
- Dip chicken tenders in egg mixture then dip into the Simply7 Quinoa Sea Salt crumbs. Ensure each side is evenly breaded.
- Evenly space the breaded chicken tenders on to a foil lined sheet pan, coated with non-stick spray.
- Bake chicken tenders for 20 – 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve with berry skewers and your favorite dipping sauce.
