Sharpening Your Punches
You likely have a lot of different hole punches in a range of shapes so that you can create different decorate hole punch designs. Have you ever used one of these punches so much that they become dull and it is difficult to punch through the paper? There’s no need to throw it away – you can actually sharpen the punch! All you have to do is punch several times through a piece of tinfoil and this will sharpen it for you. You can also use the same trick to sharpen your scissors.
Organize Ribbon On a Paper Towel Holder
If you have a lot of craft supplies it’s important to have creative and practical ways to store them so that you can keep them all organized. When you have a lot of ribbons you can keep them organized by wrapping them around a paper towel holder. You can simply slide the paper towel holder right through the hole in the middle of the spool of ribbon. This will also make it really easy to find them when you need them. You can easily pull the ribbon that you want and then cut it in one easy motion.
Styrofoam Printing
The next time you order takeaway in a Styrofoam container, save the container and wash it out. Cut out the flat bottom of the container and you can use it to make prints. Carve a pattern or a picture into the Styrofoam with a pencil, then roll over it with paint.
Press it down on the paper to make a printed design. Remember that anything you draw on the Styrofoam will be in a mirror image when you print it, so keep this in mind if you are including lettering in your design. Get Creases Out of Ribbon
What happens when you have a piece of ribbon that you want to use in your paper crafting designs, but it is creased? You can get the crease out of the ribbon by pressing it against the warmth of a lightbulb that is on. The heat will smooth out the crease and have the ribbon looking new again. Just don’t leave it pressed against the lightbulb too long, you don’t want to scorch it!
Cleaning Up Glitter
When you use glitter in your paper crafting projects it can make a terrible mess and can be very difficult to clean up. One of the easiest ways to clean up the glitter instead is to use a lint brush. The sticky lint brush is perfect for picking up the glitter.

An ice cube tray is a brilliant way to store sequins, small beads and other embellishments for your paper crafts. It has a number of small compartments so that you can see everything quickly and easily. Use foam tape to add dimension to your paper crafts. You can stick on the foam tape beneath certain elements of your designs so that they will stick out and your crafts will have depth.
