One thing that has been on my Christmas list for years has been a new bed. This year my wish came true early! Finally, we are the proud owners of a beautiful new full size bed and I couldn’t be happier! This beauty keeps our mattress off of the wall and instead, holds it in a Florence Upholstered Bed from DHP Furniture that we will cherish for a long time.

The Florence Upholstered Bed arrived in two big boxes full of pieces for my husband to put together into the finished product. One box included the headboard and the other included the foot board, slats, screws, and other components. Once he had everything laid out, he was ready to go to work on completing our bed. All together, it took him about 1 1/2 hours to put together on his own while I waited patiently in the other room. I tried to offer him a hand in assisting but I guess it’s a man thing when it comes to him building and not wanting my help. I can’t complain because I’m am more than pleased with the outcome of our bed and how complete our room is starting to look with it. I now feel like I can sleep peacefully without having to worry about the mattress sliding off of the wall or my sleeping space looking blah.
This Florence Upholstered Bed is very comfortable and I love that the slats hold the mattress securely. It’s beautifully crafted and is very durable. I love the feel of the faux leather and now I have a comfortable place to prop myself up if I want to just sit up and read or watch TV. No more having to lay my back on the bare wall that’s cold and unpleasant.
We chose this full size bed in the color brown but it comes in black and white as well. You also have the option of purchasing it in twin or queen sizes depending on what color you choose. Thank you DHP Furniture for allowing us to experience having our own bed finally after all of these years. It’s truly become my favorite part of the bedroom!
