Revell Building Scale Models

If your little one ages 6-8 has always wanted to build vehicles like the older kids, this is your chance to get them one for their age. Revell now has building scale model vehicle kits for kids ages 6  to 12 yrs old. Now your 6 yr old can finally build with ease from Revell’s wonderful SnapTite Build and play vehicle skill level 1 for ages 6-8 yrs old. These kits feature 10-20 pre decorated pieces that are easy to put together by snapping the pieces together. My son is 7 yrs old and he put together the Revell 2015 Mustang GT Snaptite build and play set within 10-15 mins with easy to follow step directions. These Snaptite sets require no glue, paint or tools, just requires little fingers and snap you got yourself a beautiful model vehicle. They are cool and Boys love them. Best part about this Model kit is the vehicle can be used to play with after snapping together due to their durable materials.

Revell’s Other New SnapTite vehicle I reviewed and put together is Skill level 2, for ages 8-12, Snaptite Max Humvee. It has approximately 25-60 pieces with a 1 hour build time but only took me about 15-20 mins. This kit also featured easy snap together pieces, but does require screwdriver for a couple screws. No paint or glue is required for this. It’s easy to put together and would make a nice gift to a Boy aged 8-12. They will have fun building this and also came with stickers for this model which I didn’t use but could be used. I had fun building this model.

Revell also has a new model for ages 10-12 Skill level 3, which does require tools, glue and paint which are not included. Paint is an option but not needed for the model I received to review as it was already pre-decorated. This model I received was the 2013 Challenger SRT8. Putting this together was a bit more challenging than the other models. This model also takes more time up to 3 hours. I am an adult and it took me about 2 hours to put together every piece for this Model. These Kits contain 40-70 pre decorated pieces, This kit is great for those older kids that  are preparing to transition to Full glue and paint Kits at skill level 4 and 5 also available from Revell.

We enjoyed putting together all of these new Revell models and They would make great gifts for Boys that love Challenges.
