Who’s excited about the upcoming holidays? I am!! If there is one thing that gets me in the mood for the holidays, it would be all the wonderful holiday scents. It’s just something about breathing in and getting a whiff of all the amazing scents that you can smell this time of year like apple pie or pumpkin spice. Our home feels so much more inviting when it’s filled with the pleasant smells of the holiday season.
Febreze sent us another cute box filled with their holiday scents and ideas for decorating the home this season. It’s always a pleasure seeing all the new items that Febreze has to offer during different times of the year. Thanksgiving and Christmas have always been a favorite of mine and i’m always looking for inspiration on other ways to make the house feel more festive and welcoming.
These cocoa crusted almonds are a simple recipe that I am truly looking forward to trying this holiday season especially since I can get the kids involved. They love helping mom out in the kitchen and this is something easy that they all can help with (minus placing the cookie sheet in the oven).
Have you ever made gingerbread cookies in a jar? If you haven’t, don’t feel bad because neither have I but with the cool recipe in our inspiration kit, we are going to try! These would make a very cute inexpensive gifts to give to grandparents, aunts, teachers, and other people on your children’s holiday list this year. How about the amazing holiday scents that were included in our kit? Our home smells just like a holiday shop thanks to Febreze NOTICEables! We were sent three different scents which was enough to have a different smell in all areas of the house.
I am more than prepared and exploding with ideas for making our home ready for the holidays and our guests. If you haven’t had a chance to visit your local Walmart, now’s a great time to check out the Febreze holiday display. They have plenty of holiday sprays, candles, and more to choose from to make the seasons bright and filled with cheer. Thanks Febreze and I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!
