Many of the joys I remember as a kid at Christmas time revolved around unwrapping a new Barbie doll, a new pair of clothes, and playing some of my favorite board games. Candy Land and Chutes & Ladders were two of my favorite games that I enjoyed playing with my mom and sister and were products that stuck in my mind into adulthood. It seems that now a days, kids are only wanting the latest technology and video games and really don’t appreciate some of the simple pleasures we had growing up. That’s why I always try to make it a point to spend time with my family and connect by playing some of the games I enjoyed as a child.
I was very ecstatic when I was offered a chance to receive some games that I loved as a child but with added treats and a different twist! Instead of playing for the win, you are also playing for some sweet chocolate treats when you’re the winner of each game.

Scrabble was never one of my first picks when it came to playing board games but now I really have something to look forward to when playing. The original game pieces are swapped out with pieces of wrapped chocolate and adds so much joy to the end of the game. Yummy! These board games make an amazing holiday gift that your child would love to unwrap! If you’re a fan of Scrabble, Wordle is a great option that you can play right from your phone- it’s a similar kind of vibe where you have to make words to score as many points as possible. And you always have the trusty Wordle solver if you get stuck.
