Hamptons Lane sent us their June box to review and I am loving the contents. Everything that’s included in this gourmet picnic box is great for the entire summer and perfect for a family outing. It’s filled with some unique gourmet items I would have never known about otherwise. Here’s what was included in our June box:
A pamphlet that’s filled with information about your box, everything that’s included, and recipes for you to try on your own. I loved learning about all the products and being able to try something different.
Custom Olivewood & Carbon Steel knife from Pallares-Solsona ~ This carbon steel blade knife was custom designed for Hamptons Lane. It’s just the right size to carry in your picnic basket and perfect for cutting. It cuts so precise and glides through your food with ease.
Fig and onion jam from Anarchy in a Box ~ A combination of sweet onions, figs, rosemary, balsamic vinegar, orange zest, and spices. This one can be paired with just about any cheese and is sure to get your taste buds jumping. It’s unlike anything I have ever tasted and opened my eyes to trying something out of the ordinary. The best part is that it taste good and I really like it!
Meaux mustard from Pommery – This Meaux mustard has been served at the tables of French kings since 1632. Goes to show that there’s nothing new under the sun but very new to me. However, this quickly became my favorite item from June’s box. It was quite tasty in these quick and easy roll ups I made and even had the hubby wanting more. Yummy!
Sweet heat pickles from Backyard Brine – This item is made with jalapenos and Vermont maple syrup and are perfect on sandwiches, in potato salad recipes, and more. I actually enjoyed eating them on their own because that spicy/sweet taste was not only a different experience, but made a great snack.
American Flag Wine Tote from Tote + Able – This tote is made from a heavy weight cotton canvas cover, is BPA-free, leak proof, and has an airtight liner. The patriotic pattern is great for the summer holidays and I love how it has a clip for hands free transport.
