Summer is almost over and it’s time to start thinking about back to school shopping (sorry parents). One of the first and most important things we start looking for this time of year is a book bag. My daughter is headed into sixth grade this year and times have changed tremendously since I was her age going to school. She is actually in middle school and the books are getting much heavier than I remember. That’s why it’s imperative to have a backpack that can withstand the weight of her heavy books and also help support her back. With the Surge II Charged, there is no problems in either of those departments. The straps provide extra cushion for comfort so there will be no complaints about her back hurting this year from having to carry books.
North Face thought of everything when they put the Surge II Charged together. There are so may compartments that it’s impossible not to have a place to put all your things. This is the perfect backpack for college kids because there is even a pocket to hold your 17″ laptop. It zips open and lays flat so you don’t have to leave home without any of your essentials. I especially love the color on this backpack. The bright, florescent color is great for if your student is walking at night.
Another thing I love about the Surge II Charged by North Face is that it comes with a portable charger. A great item for your student to charge their laptop, phone, or any other electronic on the go. Your student has no excuse not to be able to stay in touch with you for any kind of emergency with this portable charger by their side. It fits nicely and discretely in a compartment of the backpack and can be removed to charge at the end of the day.
Overall, I am completely satisfied with the Surge II Charged backpack by North Face. It provides support, plenty of room for books and supplies, and a charger for electronics. My daughter loves her new backpack and is ready to start school in September. For more information about the Surge II Charged and other great backpacks, visit thenorthface.com.
