Disclosure: We were sent a free product for review purposes. All Opinions are my own.

My siblings and I grew up watching the popular Charley Brown and Snoopy movies and I am so glad they are still going strong. I’ve noticed that my girls love many of the shows that were my favorite growing up and I have always thought that was neat. This Is America, Charlie Brown from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment was released in June and we were sent a copy to review for our little ones. It’s nice to have the kids enjoy a cartoon that is entertaining but also educates them with a piece of our nations’ history.

Featured specials include:

The Mayflower Voyagers – The Peanuts become pilgrims sailing to the New World aboard the Mayflower and endure the first hard winter on Plymouth Plantation.

The Birth of the Constitution – Linus and Charlie Brown witness the Wright brothers’ first fight.

The Great Inventors – Each member of the Peanuts gang reports on various American inventions. Linus discusses Alexander Graham Bell while Peppermint Patty and Marcie talk about Thomas Edison.

Plus many more featured specials!

This Is America, Charlie Brown really captured the girls’ attention and had them wanting to continue the movie to learn more. It’s always great when a movie offers educational value while still keeping the kids entertained. My middle child did say that some of the parts were a bit slow but wanted to continue watching because she was learning something interesting.

This Is America, Charlie Brown is available to purchase in stores now on DVD and retails for $26.99 SRP.
