If you’re over 21 and looking for a light, refreshing drink this summer that won’t cost you too many calories, Skinny Girl has some great options for you! We were sent a bottle of their sparking margarita and sweetarita as well as a bottle of Sauza sparkling margarita watermelon. All three have a light refreshing taste that is a perfect party pleaser or even to kick back and relax with your loved ones.

* Sauza(r) Sparkling Margarita Watermelon – offers a bold melon flavor for a fun twist on the classic margarita. Suggested retail price of $12.99.
All three beverages are twist top and ready to serve so there is no delay in getting your party started. Just twist open, pour over ice, and you’re ready to go! Both hubby and I enjoyed the light, sweet taste of the sweetarita and how it gave you just enough to deal with without getting over the top. It was a pretty mellow, even feeling and perfect for kicking back to watch a movie together. The sparkling margarita was a little too light for my taste and would prefer it to be a little more on the sweet side. However, I would totally enjoy it again with friends and add a few pieces of fruit to enhance the flavor.
Although I enjoyed all three cocktails, I would say the Sauza sparking margarita watermelon was my favorite. It has just the right flavor and the sparkle added a different touch. The smell was fruity and the taste was refreshing.
Overall, I enjoyed trying the new Skinny Girl and Sauza flavors. These would be great to share among friends or pass around at the family cookouts this summer. I wouldn’t even mind having a glass or two while me and my girlfriends sit by the pool and chat like you see on television shows!
