Have a lunch and movie date of course!!
Today me and the hubby decided to head to the movies and Applebees for a lunch date while the kids were at school. We had Fandango and Applebees gift cards stacked up so both the movie and lunch were free! It’s nice to get out and have alone time and fun with the hubby since we don’t really get to do too much of it. With the kids about to get out of school soon, we plan on taking advantage of the next two weeks.
Movies at the cinema around my way are $5 all day Wednesday so these are going to be our set days to catch lunch and a movie until school is out. Since we still have gift cards left, we won’t have to come out of the pocket except for the tip. Yay!! By the way, X-Men Days of Future Past was awesome and lunch was delicious! If you are a huge fan of the X-Men movies, I highly recommend you go see it. Applebees also has a great lunch combo menu that is very easy on the wallet. The chicken tortilla soup was so tasty and I plan on trying to make my own at home. I can’t wait until our date next week. What movie should we go see?
