Aveeno Nourish + Dandruff Control

I received a free sample of Aveeno Nourish + Dandruff Control from Smiley360. All opinions are my own.

We recently got accepted to do a mission for Smiley360. This time around we got to try the new Aveeno Nourish + Dandruff Control. I have always loved all Aveeno products. They have helped nourish myself and my children’s skin throughout the years. I was so happy to hear they had a new line of products to help specifically with dandruff and dry scalp.

I headed to my closest Shoprite but they did not have it so I had to go a little further to Walmart. They only carried the conditioner and 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner. We had two free product coupons so I went with buying two of the 2-in-1 products. My sister has psoriasis of the scalp so I wanted her to give one to try and see if it helps. I am currently waiting her results and will give you all an update later.

I am very happy with the results of my hair from this product. I have been going natural and chemical free for almost 2 years and don’t use too much product in my hair. The problem with that is trying to keep it from feeling dry and dull. I don’t really have lots of dandruff but it is visible. After washing my hair with the 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, I saw no signs of dandruff. My hair was so soft and looks nourished even in it’s natural and dry state. I also  used a very little oil when my hair was dry and styled.

The only drawback about this product is that my hair is thicker and I found it a little hard to get a lather. I had to wash it quite a few times to get one. Other than that, I really liked it.
