Flat Iron Experts Are Awesome!

I don’t straighten my hair too often but when I do, i need to have a flat iron that will be able to withstand my natural hair. I have had the natural style without relaxers in my hair for over a year now and sometimes it can be a chore to get it straight like I want it. My old flat iron went cu-put not too long ago so I had been wearing it in a ponytail. The Cortex Salon 450 Titanium flat iron was just what I needed to get out of that routine of pulling my hair back every single day.

The first thing I noticed about this flat iron was it’s sleek and light weight design. The giraffe print is different and edgy but is something that I truly love about it. I feel like I can throw it in my purse and travel with it wherever I go.  It has an adjustable temperature dial and heats up pretty quickly. I used the highest temperature (450) for my hair because it is thick and curly in it’s natural state.

The thermal shine spray that was sent along with my flat iron helped protect my hair from the heat as well as give it some extra shine. I straightened my hair in less than 15 minutes with the cortex from Flat Iron Experts and highly recommend it.

Normally I would be styling my hair for what seems like forever. What’s even cooler is when I was done with each section, I placed it in this holder to protect my sinks and counters from the heat of the flat iron. Love it!!
