Zen Water Countertop Filtration System

Our family drinks a lot of water. Before we moved to our new home we were either buying water bottles or filling up bottles at my aunt’s house because the tap water was not safe to drink. With us moving to the new house, the water was safe to drink but I still worried about contaminants in the water. It also tasted a little funny to me so I was continuing to buy water bottles. The problem with that is this cost can add up tremendously. When I was offered the chance to review the Zen Water countertop filtration system I was excited to give it a try.

Technology:
Our micro-ceramic filter dome has pores as small as .03 micros which will filter out most of the contaminats, undissolved impurities and chemicals.

The 5-Stage Mineral cartridge filter contains silver impregnated activated high-grade carbon, zeolite, far-infared ball, silica sand, mineral stones and ionic-exchange resin. Each play an integral role in either filtering out or infusing the water to create the most purest form possible.

The set up was no walk in the park and took two of us to prep it, however, I am glad that we have this. The water tastes 100% better then it does coming out of the tap. It actually tastes clean, crisp, and looks clear. I feel a lot better letting my family drink tap water now plus I am saving money because we are no longer buying bottled water. One drawback is that the system is a little too big for our counter. I would like to have it sit back but that just can’t happen with the cabinets being so low. I have come up with a solution to that problem though. Once the water is filtered, we take the middle part out and place in in the fridge to make our water cold. We have a pretty nice sized fridge so it doesn’t take up too much space. I give the Zen Water countertop filtration system a 4 out of 5 stars. It has really came in handy for our family of five!!
