Guess who recently had family taco night and got to use the Perfect Tortilla pan set? With this pan you can make those perfect crispy tortilla bowls that you see on television. The set includes four pans and the bowls are very simple to make. My oldest daughter prepared them while I supervised.
Just choose any size tortilla shell that you want. We went with the small ones but next time we are going to use larger ones. Place your shell inside of the pans and press down lightly until it looks like what you see below.
Once that is done just throw them in the oven and bake. Depending on your oven the cooking time will vary. You will know they are done when the shell is brown around the edges. Ours took about twelve minutes in our convection oven and I could only bake two at a time.
Once they are done you can let them sit for a few minutes to let it cool down then add anything you want. There were plenty of ideas included with the set that I will give a try the next go around.
We just made a traditional taco bowl this time around with ground turkey, lettuce, tomato, and cheese. These were a delicious, healthy dinner and the entire family enjoyed them.
