Disclosure: The Pfizer Pediatric Platform products, information, and additional gift pack have been provided by Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. All thoughts and reviews are my own.
The weather is changing and springtime is supposed to have sprung, but it seems like old man winter still wants to linger. One week it’s snowing, the next week it’s close to 80 degrees, then it’s right back to the windy, cold weather. With the confusing shifts, it’s kind of hard to keep the children from getting sick. Thanks to our friends at Pfizer, we are equipped with a handful of amazing products to help fight off those nasty colds and fevers that pop up unexpectedly.
Our family was provided with several Pfizer Pediatric platform products which included:
- Dimetapp Children’s Cough/Cold DM grape syrup – 4 Fl Oz.
- All in a great tasting grape flavor, Children’s Dimetapp® Cold & Cough tackles a child’s most bothersome stuffy and runny noses, all while working to relieve cough.
- Advil® Children’s Grape Fever Reducer and Pain Reliever Liquid – 4 fl oz
- Ease those aches and pains, while reducing a child’s fever fast with Children’s Advil®, a great solution for kids as young as 2 and up to 11. Children’s Advil® comes in several great-tasting flavors, including: Sugar-free Dye-free Berry, Bubble Gum, Grape, Blue Raspberry, Fruit and Dye-Free White Grape flavors. There’s also Infants’ Advil® White Grape, which provides unsurpassed fever relief with a syringe for easy dosing for children 6-23 months.
- Children’s Robitussin Day/Night Cough Syrup – 2 count (4 Fl Oz each)
- Formulated just for kids, Children’s Robitussin® DM Day/Night Pack (Children’s Robitussin® Cough & Chest Congestion and Children’s Robitussin® Nighttime Cough) non-drowsy daytime formula helps break up chest congestion, while the long-acting nighttime formula relieves coughs and runny noses to help kids get the rest they need.
We also received a Target gift card so we could purchase more product whenever we need to restock. These products came just in time since my youngest started complaining about a stuffy nose and coughing. Dimetapp Children’s Cough/Cold DM grape syrup worked wonders and had her feeling better in no time!
I also love both the Advil® Children’s Grape Fever Reducer and Pain Reliever Liquid & Children’s Robitussin Day/Night Cough Syrup. Children’s Advil has been my go to fever reducer for several years now so it’s always great to have this on hand. Fevers love to pop up out of nowhere in my home and with three young girls, this can be a lifesaver. Fevers are quickly reduced and stay down when I use Advil, helping my girls to feel like their beautiful selves. I love this stuff!
All three products are available at Target and Target.com so don’t forget to stock up on your favorite brands. For more information about these and other Pfizer products, visit the Sick just got real.™ website and Sick just got real.™ Facebook page.

the weather is windy but sunny
Sunny and warm with a brisk breeze. The pollen count is high so allergies are kicking right now.
It is a bit cold and rainy right now but in a few days we will probably be back up to the 70s.
It’s very sunny and warm! The next couple of days are supposed to be in the 80s.
It just finished raining a ton here. We’re out of the flood zones, but there’s a lot of water everywhere. Just before, it was chilly but it wasn’t too long ago that it was really warm. Gotta love Texas weather! 3 of the 5 in our family have had the flu in the last 2 weeks so we’ve gone through a lot of Advil!!!
Today it was beautiful and very sunny. Temperature in the 70’s.
