Disclosure: We were able to test drive the 2014 Mazda6 for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
Look what car I had the chance to test drive last week for the Moms Meet Blog Summit!! Boy did this baby come in handy. Not only was it my first time driving to Philadelphia by myself but I finally overcame my fear of driving over a bridge. Yay me!! With the on point TomTom navigation system, I arrived at my destination safely and without any problems.
The 2014 Mazda6 is luxury at it’s finest. It has a sporty exterior as well as interior look. The 19″ Alloy wheels compliment the Blue Reflex exterior color and beautiful bodywork. I wouldn’t mind riding around in this on a regular basis since it gets even better when you open the door. The Almond leather seats are what I love most about the interior. You want your car to look good inside and out and I think the 2014 Mazda was on point!
I’m pretty sure your saying, never mind how this car looks, how does it drive, right? Like a charm! The SkyActiv technology makes you want to say zoom zoom zoom! No really, this baby has some pickup! I guess so with the 184 horsepower it’s packing! Did I mention that you can easily switch from automatic to manual (stick shift)? Neat huh? How they do this is beyond me but sure is nice for those who know how to drive both ways. I’ll stick with automatic. Totally ones preference, is great either way, and doesn’t take away from this vehicle’s functionality.
I loved having this car for my ride to the summit. It was responsive to every turn and was even great in the rain. Anyone that knows me knows I don’t do driving and rain together but the 2014 made me feel much more secure driving by myself. The 2014 Mazda6 also allows safe driving with the added controls on the steering wheel to control radio volume and making calls. I love the ability to talk to the system that way your hands are free to do what they are meant to do and that’s drive.
Other added features of the 2014 Mazda6 include rear view camera display, heated front seats, heated side mirrors, push start, anti-lock break system, and much more. If you are someone that likes to keep things organized in your car even when plugging up then this tuck away USB port is great! I loved being able to charge my phone and keep it out of my arm space when behind the wheel.
The 2014 Mazda6 is an excellent vehicle that gives you 32 combined city/highway MPG that will wind up saving you$3250 in fuel cost in the course of 5 years.
I enjoyed driving the 2014 Mazda6. It’s beautiful inside and out.
