Sakar Hello Kitty DVR Review

My daughter has been begging for a camera and is also a huge Hello Kitty fanatic. That’s why we were so excited to be able to review this Hello Kitty DVR from Sakar. This DVR comes packaged with the recorder, manual, set up disk, and cords. It’s lightweight and very stylish for a child her age. It’s not grown up plus it is a character that she loves.

When this first arrived in the mail she was thrilled. She finally had something she truly wanted. With this DVR she is able to watch her recordings on TV and show everyone on a full screen. The preview screen turns 180 degrees allowing her to have flexibility when viewing. She loves the flashlight and that she can use it to see things in the dark.

There are a few things that she was not fond of. She couldn’t use her DVR immediately because it requires an SD card that is not included in the package. I think it would be perfect if it included the SD card or did not require one at all for use. Secondly, she didn’t really like the picture quality. It was kind of dark when recording and we were not quite sure how to change that.

Overall, I think that this is a good starter DVR for her age. It’s small, lightweight, and if you already have an SD card then you should have no problem. My 7 year old is starting to really like Hello Kitty so she will be able to hand it down to her younger sister when she is done using it.
