This year Build-A-Bear workshop will be celebrating their 15th birthday as well as their 100 millionth best friends made. Build-A-Bear opened their doors on October 27, 1997 in St. Louis and the company has since then become global. In my 30 years I have made two of these wonderful friends on my own and seen my daughter play dress up and take hers everywhere she goes. Watching her play and never growing tired of Diamond brings me back to my childhood. Every furry friend we make reminds me of how important it is to have my close friends and how much they count.
