national breastfeeding month

Breastfeeding is a great way to nurture and bond with baby. A mom’s milk holds so many key nutrients and vitamins that are detrimental to a child’s development. Breastfeeding may not always be easy for many reasons, so whether you breast or bottle feed, Tommee Tippee is here to help every step of the way. Their closer to nature product line provides a comfortable and natural way to stay connecting to baby during the feeding stage.

The Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Single Manual Breast Pump comes with everything you need to pump and store your milk effectively. It’s manual suction allows you to pump on your own terms and doesn’t require a hard suction. You can pump directly into the bottle that is included and feed baby immediately or refrigerate/freeze for later use. This pump is easy to clean and doesn’t have too many parts to dissemble. The kit also includes a sterilizing box that lets you easily sterilize your pump in the microwave. Neat!!!

We were also sent Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Disposable Breast Pads. Gone are the days of unprotected bras and clothing. When breastfeeding, we leak milk but you don’t have to mess up your clothes and certainly not feel embarrassed. These breast pads come in a box of 5o and are wrapped by two’s. You can throw a few in your bag for use on the go!

The  Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Nipple Shields are great! Babies jaws and suction are very powerful and can really cause an uncomfortable feeling. That’s why a lot of mothers give up on breastfeeding. These nipple shields act as a second skin so it still feels natural to baby. This takes a lot of stress off your nipples and ease the pain of cracked nipples.

Last thing we received were 2 Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature 5 oz. Added Comfort Bottles. These anti colic bottles have such a unique design that everyone here loves. The nipples have a natural feel for baby so it makes it easy if you are trying to transition from breast to bottle feeding.

All Tommee Tippee products are BPA free (Bisphenol A) and natural feeling to both mom and baby. With National Breastfeeding Month almost coming to a close, remember that we support whatever feeding choice you decide for your baby. Nothing is greater than a mother’s love and only you can choose what is best for you and baby!

I am pregnant now, and if we have a boy I really want to name him Zavier. Since my name starts with a Z and my daughter has an unusual name as well as myself, and my son is a Zachary I would to spell it like that.

My favorite baby name is Maddox cause that’s the name of my 4 year old son. I will have another favorite baby name in a few weeks as baby boy #2 arrives, but I am not sure what that will be yet!
